Unsafe Drugs :: Avandia

AVANDIA - Avandia has been linked to heart attacks, congestive heart failure, liver damage, kidney problems, and increased bone thinning in both men and women.  The diabetes drug, manufactured by pharmaceutical giant GlaskoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK), is under increased scrutiny leading concerned citizens to call for the FDA to ban the drug.  Unfortunately, the drug is causing more problems than it is worth.

If you have been prescribed Avandia to treat diabetes and you have suffered from congestive heart failure or a heart attack, you need to contact an attorney.  The prescription may have been for Avandia, Avandamet, or Avandaryl, which are alternate forms of Avandia.  In addition, long term exposure by women has led to osteoporosis, increasing propensity for bone fractures and disabilities.

Unsafe drug cases are complex and costly to litigate. Experienced representation is essential, and that is exactly what we help provide. If you believe you or a loved one suffered a serious complication as a result of taking Avandia, please fill out the form below for a free evaluation.
