Medical Malpractice :: Medication Errors

MEDICATION ERRORS - An Experienced Medication Error Lawyer Will Make A Difference.

Thousands of people every year die or have their condition worsened as a result of a medication error.  Whether it is faulty record keeping or simply a lack of knowledge of the drug, doctors and other health care professionals may prescribe drugs that patients are allergic to or that may interact negatively with other prescriptions already prescribed.  Or they may fail to timely administer medication or simply forget to administer a necessary medication at all.

Complications can also result when too much of the drug is given or prescribed (an overdose), or when the wrong drug is administered or prescribed.  Furthermore, doctors can be held liable for recklessly prescribing drugs to someone that has a history of abusing prescription medication.

If you believe that you or a loved one was negatively impacted by an error in prescribing or adminstering medication, you deserve to be financially compensated for the emotional as well as economic distress that resulted.

Whether a physician or facility has been negligent is typically determined by a peer within that area of expertise, adding expense to an already expensive and difficult litigation process. Therefore, experienced representation is essential to assist individuals who have been injured by medical negligence or who have family members who were injured as the result of medical negligence.
